The Afghan peace process refers to both the proposals and negotiations in a bid to end the ongoing war in Afghanistan.Taliban's Strategy
The Taliban which refers to itself as Islamic Emirates Afhanistan are a Islamic organization that operates in Afhanistan, a country in Central/South Asia.The US after the 9/11 made request to the Taliban leadership under the Presidency of George w. Bush to hand over Osama bin Laden. The Taliban refused to hand over Osama bin Laden to the US government demanding enough evidence of his participation in the attack. US can't prove participate of Osama bin landen, and we believe that "Until alligations are not proved every person is innocent".
Osama bin landen was guest of Afhanistan, who helped Afhanistan in Svoit Union war. Taliban was ready to make fair trail of Osama bin landen in neutral country.
US strategy
On September 5, 2018, Zalmay Khalilzad joined the U.S. State Department as President Trump's special adviser on Afghanistan. The purpose was to facilitate an intra-Afghan political peace process to end the war.Russia host daliouge(Nov, 2019)
Russia hosted a separate peace talk in November 2018 between the Taliban and officials from Afghanistan's High Peace Council.Qatar host daliouge
The Afghan Taliban announced in December 2018 that they will once again meet with American negotiators in Qatar to find a peaceful solution to the 15-year armed insurgency in Afghanistan.In February 2019, intra-Afghan talks between the Taliban and other Afghans, which included former President Hamid Karzai, were held at a hotel in Moscow. The talks did not include the Afghan government led by Ghani.
On February 25, 2019, peace talks began between the Taliban and the United States in Qatar, with Taliban co-founder Abdul Ghani Baradar notably present. US special envoy Zalmay Khalilzad reported that this round of negotiations was "more productive than they have been in the past" and that a draft version of a peace agreement had been agreed upon. The deal involved the withdrawal of US and international troops from Afghanistan and the Taliban not allowing other jihadist groups to operate within the country.The Taliban also reported that progress was being made in the negotiations.
Pakistan plays a central role in an attempt to end the war.On 12 August 2019, the US and the Taliban completed an eighth round of talks in Qatar. The Washington Postreported that the US was close to reaching a peace deal with the Taliban and was preparing to withdraw 5,000 troops from Afghanistan.
September, President Donald Trump's special envoy for Afghanistan states that an agreement has been reached by the US and the Taliban, and the final approval is pending by the President.However, President Donald Trump stated that he canceled peace talks with Afghanistan's Taliban leaders after an attack in Kabul that killed an American soldier and 11 localists.
The taliban sent a delegation to Russia to discuss prospects for a withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan after the collapse of talks with the United States. On September 18, 2019, the Taliban stated that their "doors are open" should US President Donald Trump want to resume peace talks in the future.
Now trump made visit to Afhanistan and come back. After this trump resume peace talk which was paused after death of a us solider and 11innocents, people are not in world also now. Trump cancel itself meeting with Taliban in Washington DC.
Conclusion:
Now someone think that Trump has made this meeting secretly in AfghanistanTrump cancel peace talk in previous why? Now when he restart this. Question is this, Is family US solider and 11 innocent people forgave their blood?
Pakistan play an important role in peace talk because US can't bring Taliban on dialogue. Now US representative zalmay halilzad met with Taliban in Qatar Doha. One thing is remember that zalmay halilzad is member of think tank which think tank work on Eastern countries.Trump facing impeachment charges now.
One thing is remember that general election will be held on 2020 in US.
